Our hand-built log cabins in Faust, AB near Lesser Slave Lake in northern Alberta create the ambience of a bygone era. Whether you want calm from the chaos of the world, rest and relaxation, a romantic get-away, fabulous fishing, or a recreation experience, this is your ideal location. We offer you a “home away from home” for a unique camp life experience.
Our move to Faust happened in 2008. We are now open year round as our guests have requested. For you folks who want to travel or hunt in the fall and for you folks who love to ice fish, give us a call! For those people who want an outdoor winter recreation experience, bring your toys for big girls and boys and come play in our rural neck of the woods! We love to play with snow mobiles, quads, snowshoes, dog sleds, and cross country skiis in this part of the world.
Each cabin has a fridge, stove and microwave. A full sized coffee maker and toaster are in each kitchen. All cabins come fully equipped with dishes plus all the pots, pans and cooking implements you need for barbequing, cooking or microwaving. All cabins have hot and cold running water in the kitchen and bathroom. A wooden table and chairs are in the kitchen. Sit back and enjoy the view from your deck. Outside your cabin is a fire pit for barbecuing or for sitting around for your evening pleasure.
The two bedroom cabins have a 4 person maximum occupancy. They have a queen size bed in the master bedroom. The second bedroom has either a double bed or a set of twin beds. All cabins contain a shower unit in a full bathroom.
The single open-area cabins contain a double bed plus a set of bunk beds. They have a maximum 4 person occupancy. These cabins easily accommodate two adults or a couple and two children. They come equipped with a fully loaded kitchen with a fridge, full size stove plus all the dishes you require for your stay. The showers in the bathroom provide you with the luxury of hot water in the privacy of your own fully equipped bathroom.

For people who wish to visit longer, or for crews working in the area, we now offer a small house or a mobile home that can be rented by the month.

We use more eco-friendly natural products to clean your cabin for you. We are aware that a higher percentage of people have asthma and allergies today. For hygienic reasons, bring your own bedding and towels please. We have pillows and comforters on each bed in our efforts to make this a homey atmosphere for your visit with us.
